All efforts are made to send notification by the planned date. Should there be any delays with the
selection process, revised date will be posted here.
Do not forget to mention the abstract #reference for any request.
Abstract Types
There will be two Categories of submission
Original Research:
- Only original human, animal, laboratory data research are accepted under this category.
Human and animal research must be approved or exempted by the relevant local institutional
review boards, or animal or clinical ethics committees.
Case Report/ Series:
- Descriptions of interesting events and practices with some educational value may be
submitted. These may be unusual medically-challenging clinical case reports or case series,
or case studies. All abstracts must state the problem, describe how the problem was
addressed, state the results or outcome, and provide some concluding remarks about key
issues and recommendations.
- For Case Reports. ensure that the patient cannot be identified from the abstract .
Rules
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and
spelling.
- The presenting author is requested to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of
the abstract before submission.
- Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published on
the Conference website.
- Only the abstracts of registered presenting authors will be included in the final programme.
- Each person may submit up to 2 abstracts. The number of abstracts one person may be the
presenting author is 2.
- The Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted as Oral or
e-poster presentations, with consideration to be given to the author’s preference. Abstracts
will be reviewed and assigned to appropriate sessions.
- All submitted abstracts must contain novel data. Abstracts stating “data will be discussed
in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.
Guidelines for Abstract Preparation
- Author and co-authors’ details:
a) Full first and family name(s) : The presenting author's name must be underlined
b) Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state, country,
c) email:
please input the real email of each one of your co-authors.
Please note that you will not be able to change the list of authors after the deadline of
submission.
Each abstract can only have up to 8 authors.
- Abstract title – limited to 25 words – The title must be in lowercase with
a single capital letter at the beginning of each sentence.
- Abstract text – limited to 350 words (Excluding title and the names of
the author (s) and their institutions and references)
- Images, tables and graphs:
(1) Graphs and images may be uploaded in a JPG format only. A maximum of 3 tables/ images
can be included per abstract.
(2) The abstracts cannot be edited after submission.
- Validation:
You will receive an email confirming the registration of your abstract. If you do not
receive this email within 48 hours, please contact us.
Abstract Layout
The submitted abstracts must be structured into the following sections:
Original Research:
- Title
- Background and aims
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Reference (Optional)
Case Report/ Series:
- Title
- Background
- Case Description
- Discussion
- Conclusion/ Learning Points
- Reference (Optional)
Evaluation
The submitted abstracts will be examined anonymously by the RACC-2024 Abstract Committee. The
authors will be informed of acceptance/rejection of their abstract by e-mail by the 20th June
2024.
The specification of final presentation will be shared by 15th July 2024.

RACC Abstract Prize
The scientific committee will judge the submitted abstracts. Best three research papers and case reports will be awarded.
A few research paper may be considered for oral presentation as per the judgement of abstract review committee..
